Halifax Metro Transit is the major public transit service operator for the cities of Halifax and Dartmoth, Nova Scotia. The Halifax Metro Transit operates 59 bus routes with a fleet 278 buses. (52 conventional transit routes, 3 Metrolink routes, 1 Metro X route and 3 community service routes) In additional to bus services, Metro Transit is also responsible for ferry services between downtown Halifax with Woodside and Dartmoth.
